RWB – Antonio Valencia
Valencia did well in his wing-back role at the Emirates and with doubts remaining over Rafael’s fitness the Ecuador international should continue in the role.
CM – Michael Carrick
Since returning from injury Carrick has supplied some much needed calm to the midfield and despite Ander Herrera being a more attacking option we expect the 33-year-old to retain his place.
CM – Angel di Maria
With the Englishman sitting back di Maria will have more opportunities to break forward and add to his current league tally of three goals and six assists.
LWB – Ashley Young
Like Valencia this usual winger did well as a wing-back against Arsene Wenger’s men and with Daley Blind and Luke Shaw both out injured the 29-year-old should continue there.
