Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has taken to Instagram to strongly deny reports that he and Reds manager Brendan Rodgers have fallen out.
Gerrard was left out of Rodgers’s starting XI for yesterday’s 1-0 win over Stoke City, despite the game being played on the 16th anniversary of his senior club debut.
However, the 34-year-old has insisted that he and Rodgers have a solid relationship, branding claims to the contrary as nonsense.
Gerrard came on for the final 15 minutes against Stoke.
