The Portuguese boss returned to the club for a second stint in June 2013, penning a four-year deal in the process, and has led his side to the top of the Premier League table this season.

Chelsea look well on their way to claiming the Premier League title already, after Mourinho brokered deals to sign Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa over the summer.

Though that hasn’t stopped him from being linked with taking over from Luis Enrique at the Nou Camp as he continues to struggle to keep up with Real Madrid at the top of La Liga.

But the 50-year-old has previously admitted that he would jump at the chance to stay at Stamford Bridge if given the chance, saying: “I’m not here thinking about my next move because I don’t want to have a next move.

“I will have a next move if and when Chelsea decides it’s time for that. I’m here to stay. I belong to Chelsea, Chelsea belong to me.”
