Robbie Keane Voted MLS’ Most Valuable Player For 2014

Irishman Robbie Keane has just won the MLS MVP award for 2014.

The 34-year-old international has enjoyed a sensational year, registering an MLS career-high 19 goals and 14 assists over 29 game. He has directly contributed to nearly half of the LA Galaxy’s total of 69 goals – an impressive feat.

He took 88 votes, beating second placed Obafemi Martins (63), third placed Lee Nguyen (57) and fourth placed Bradley Wright Phillips (49).
