German giants throw party to apologise to suffering fans.
Several Borussia Dortmund stars got temporary jobs as barmen this week after throwing a party for the club’s fans to say sorry for the terrible downturn their season has taken.
Club captain Roman Weidenfeller led the club’s stars behind the bar, with the likes of Mats Hummels, Marco Reus, Ilkay Gundogan and Nevan Subotic all pouring drinks.
Since taking over in 2008, Jurgen Klopp has turned Dortmund into one of Europe’s most dynamic and exciting teams, only for everything to eventually go pear shaped this season.
The players poured pints for the 1,000 fans that were able to attend, and also engaged in a lengthy autograph session for the supporters.
