Keano puts former fans in his sights – nobody is safe!

Former Manchester United legend Roy Keane has now turned his ire onto his old fans at the club after they criticised him over his fall out with ex-manager Sir Alex Ferguson, the Daily Express reports.

Keane left United under somewhat of a cloud back in 2005 after burning bridges with Ferguson and other coaches at the club at the time.

But Keane spoke out recently to claim that he’s not bothered about whether or not his spat with Ferguson blemished his legacy at the club.

“If United fans say I had a decent career, then brilliant,” Keane said.

“If they want to say, ‘What’s gone on with Ferguson stuff?’ then f*** them.”

However, Keane has insisted that he would be prepared to sit and share a cup of tea with his former manager, but only if he apologised first.

“Well, it would be a cup of tea. If Sir Alex apologises, then yes, I would.

“If Ferguson apologises I would be happy to move on. For Ferguson to bad-mouth me after I left, I think he does owe me an apology.

“It was never going to end as a pal’s act. I was never going to leave with champagne and flowers.

“I saw how Bryan Robson and Steve Bruce left the club, both decent United captains, and I didn’t like the way they left.”
