He may have retired over eight years ago but Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has certainly not lost any of his skills, showing Erik Lamela and Christian Eriksen just how to put away a free-kick.
The two Spurs stars are the club’s assigned set-piece takers with the Danish international Eriksen scoring some wonderful goals from the dead ball since his £11 million arrival from Ajax over a year ago.
Practice makes perfect, however, and Pochettino put his set piece specialists through their paces before showing them how it really should be done, stepping up to dispatch a textbook free kick.
Maybe Spurs should try and substitute on their manager the next time they have a free-kick…
