Manchester United’s record signing Angel di Maria has revealed that he struggles to understand his teammates, and that the language barrier is a real problem, according to the Daily Star.

The £59.7m summer signing has got off to fantastic start to life at Old Trafford, but admits that his poor English has made it difficult to settle in.
“I must adapt to my team-mates, because there are still some moments in the game in which I feel I am not fully adapted yet,” he said.
“The language barrier has also made it a bit harder, but I am trying to overcome that as soon as possible so I can communicate with everyone.”
Currently sidelined with a hamstring injury, the Argentine international has some time to practice his English.
Louis van Gaal’s side are currently in the midst of an upsurge in form, with four wins in their last four games.
The Dutchman has struggled to field a regular starting XI this season, with injuries disrupting the team at every turn. A number of key players are on their way back from injury now however, which will certainly help the club as they head into the busy Christmas period.
