Khedira was heavily linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium in the summer, but the 2014 World Cup winner’s massive wage demands allegedly scuppered any potential deal.
It seems Arsene Wenger is still keen on the midfielder however, and with just over six months remaining on his current deal the Frenchman will be looking to land his man for a knockdown price.
The 27-year-old is hot property at the moment, and has been linked with moves to Chelsea, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich as well. It seems that Arsenal are in the driving seat however, and at just £6m Wenger surely can’t turn him down.
The German international will be a free agent in the summer, at which point the Gunners would face far more competition for his signature. Arsenal fans will just be hoping that his wages are not still an issue.
