Owen Coyle Set To Be Appointed Manager Of MLS Side

MLS side Houston Dynamo are set to appoint ex Wigan manager Owen Coyle.

MLS fans are considering the acquisition of the Scottish manager to be a coup for the league, while British fans are considering it a coup that they’ve finally got rid of him.

Houston finished eighth in the Eastern Conference last season and have been looking for a new manager since Dominic Kinnear opted to leave and join the San Jose Earthquakes in October.

The deal with Coyle is expected to be finalised over the weekend after his arrival in Texas this afternoon.

Coyle has also manager Bolton, Burnley, Falkirk and St Johnstone in a 11 year managerial career.
