Despite the Colombian recently stating that he was happy in Portugal, an agent associated with Porto has revealed that the club are willing to let the forward leave as long as his release clause is met.

“Liverpool are in for Jackson,” said Peppino Tirri.

“AC Milan? That’s unlikely.

“Porto won’t yield an inch from their €35m (£27.5m) release clause.”

Tottenham have also been heavily linked with a move for the prolific front-man, with reports suggesting they are willing to offer Roberto Soldado in part-exchange to bring him to White Hart Lane.

It looks like Liverpool are in pole position however, as the Merseyside club ready their massive bid for the in demand Porto star.

Brendan Rodgers is in dire need of attacking reinforcements, with Daniel Sturridge missing most of the season due to injury and summer signing Mario Balotelli not looking up to the task of leading the line at Liverpool.
