With Arsene Wenger’s side continually failing to live up to expectations however, how long will the Chilean be willing to stick it out in North London before he looks for greener pastures?

Arsenal legend Ian Wright thinks not long, and the former Highbury striker has warned the club that they need to shape up or risk losing their summer signing in the near future.

The ex-Barcelona star will surely have been frustrated with the team’s performance at the Britannia stadium this past weekend, with goals from Aaron Ramsey and Santi Cazorla not enough to recover from a three goal deficit accrued the first half.

Sanchez had a fantastic chance to score a third for the Gunners after an unbelievable run saw him round the keeper. The angle was too tight however, and he saw his shot come agonizingly close as he struck the outside of the post.

The tireless forward can’t be expected to be the hero every single game however, and Arsenal undoubtedly need to shape up if they want to hold onto their top stars.
