FA Cup Third Round Draw: Arsenal And Hull Play In Repeat Of Last Year’s Final

Find out who the big boys drew in the third round of the season’s FA Cup.

The draw for the third round of this year’s FA Cup has been made in Hull, with a number of eye-catching ties having been pulled out of the hat for the ties that will be played in the first weekend of January.

The first tie out of the hat was a repeat of last year’s final between Arsenal and Hull City at the Emirates Stadium – a game that was eventually won 3-2 by the Gunners after extra time.

Other eye catching ties include Liverpool’s trip to South West London to face AFC Wimbledon in a repeat of the famous 1988 final, whilst non-league Dover Athletic host Crystal Palace at The Crabble.

Chelsea will host Championship high flyers Watford, Manchester City face Sheffield Wednesday in a repeat of this season’s League Cup tie, whilst Manchester United face a trip to either Accrington Stanley or Yeovil Town.
