The Daily Mail claim the two Premier League outfits both want West Brom youngster Saido Berahino and FC Porto’s Jackson Martinez.

The Baggies may struggle to keep hold of England Under 21 international Berahino and has therefore placed a massive £25m price-tag on the attacker so as to properly compensate them for his potential departure.

Berahino’s seven goals in 14 Premier League starts is all the more impressive given his side’s position at the wrong end of the table.

£30m is the apparent fee on Martinez’s head and that may be the smarter of the two potential moves given the Colombian’s top level experience.

The 28 year old has racked up a healthy total of 72 goals in 107 appearances for FC Porto and could be open to a move to the English top tier.

Both Brendan Rodgers and Mauricio Pochettino have seen their strike-forces struggle this term and a January addition may aid their respective pushes for a top four finish.
