The three forwards are West Bromwich Albion’s Saido Berahino, FC Porto’s Jackson Martinez, and West Ham United’s Diafra Sakho. Manager Brendan Rodgers is looking for a centre-forward as his current crop have been in terrible form so far this season.

Apparently the Reds do not wish to buy their way out of trouble, but they have been looking at the trio as possible signings should they splash the cash. Supposedly Martinez has been offered to them, while the other two have caught the eye with their form so far this campaign

The Merseyside club have been in poor form this season, and goals have not been their only problem. They have also had trouble with conceding too many at the back, as new signing Dejan Lovren has endured a torrid start to his Anfield career.

Another new addition, Mario Balotelli, has also failed to impress and has scored just two goals since his £16m summer switch from AC Milan.
