GK – Kasper Schmeichel, Leicester City – 8.2 rating

Despite losing 2-1 to Aston Villa the Dane was in fine form between the sticks and if Leicester are relegated we expect to see the goalkeeper leaving the King Power Stadium.

RB – Eric Dier, Tottenham Hotspur – 8.2

Although a 0-0 draw at home to Crystal Palace was a disappointing result for Mauricio Pochettino, the 20-year-old did his job at the back with aplomb.

CB – Richard Dunne, QPR – 9.1

It was a much needed win for the Hoops in what is often described as a ‘relegation six pointer’ with fellow promoted side Burnley and Dunne was a solid influence at the back.

CB – Federico Fazio, Tottenham Hotspur – 8.9

Has hardly set English football alight since arriving from Sevilla over the summer, but against Palace it was a good showing for the centre-back.

LB – Joel Ward, Crystal Palace – 8.3

Staying in North London and it was a decent point for Neil Warnock’s men, with Ward showing he is just as capable at left-back as he is on the right.
