Spanish giants ready to move for Reds contract rebel.
Real Madrid are reportedly ready to pounce for the signing of Liverpool youngster Raheem Sterling as he stalls on signing a new contract at the club, according to the Daily Express.
The talented 20-year-old has been in top form for the Reds over the last year or so, establishing himself as one of Europe’s most promising young players and a real star for the future.
However, Liverpool now face the real possibility of losing the player as he looks no closer to committing to a new contract, while the side’s exit from the Champions League at this season’s group stage could also sway his decision.
Sterling is supposedly keen to continue playing in Europe’s top club competition after a taste this season, and there is no guarantee for Brendan Rodgers’ side of making the competition next year after such poor form in the Premier League so far this term.
This could see Real make a move for the England international, with the Spanish giants known to be big admirers of his talent and tremendous potential.
