Wenger hints at role for unsettled forward.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has suggested that Lukas Podolski will get his chance in the first-team this season after an impressive return to form against Galatasaray.

The German international scored twice in the 4-1 win in Turkey in this week’s Champions League game, and Wenger was impressed by his display as he looks to work his way back into the starting lineup.
Podolski’s lack of starts this season has recently led to speculation that he could be leaving the club in the January transfer window, but the Gunners manager now feels he is returning to his best form and has a role to play for the team this season.
Speaking at his Friday press conference, Wenger confirmed he is happy with Podolski and has plans to use him this term.

Wenger also hinted at a lack of activity in the transfer market this winter, which could also mean that Podolski will be kept at the Emirates Stadium rather than replaced by a new attacking player.
