Arsenal legend Ian Wright has slammed his fellow fans in an unexplained Twitter rant, with the former Highbury star labelling them “w*****’s” and revealing his disappointment at many of them.

It wasn’t quite clear exactly what brought on the attack, but the comment certainly drew mixed reactions from Gooners around the world.

With the bizarre and sudden nature of the attack, many questioned whether the ex-striker had been hacked.
Wright later confirmed that the words were all his own however, even if he had been indulging in a few drinks before he took to Twitter.
