The German international has long been targeted by a whole host of Europe’s leading club sides, and it now seems that Dortmund have resigned themselves to losing their star player.

Manager Jurgen Klopp is seemingly planning to sign AC Milan forward Stephan El Shaarawy to come in as Reus’ replacement in that attacking midfield role, which is likely to lead to bids from United, Liverpool and Arsenal.

All three clubs have been strongly tipped as the leading contenders to sign the 25-year-old for some time now, and a move to the Premier League can’t be ruled out at this stage, despite rumours of interest from another European giants.

Reus scored 23 goals last season but missed his country’s World Cup win in Brazil through injury.
