Arsenal may not be able to bring Paris Saint-Germain star Edinson Cavani to the Emirates in January due to his massive wage demands…

Paris Saint-Germain star Edinson Cavani is a top target for a number of Premier League clubs in January, but may be forced to remain in France with the money involved in any potential deal likely to scupper a move, reports the Daily Mail.

Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham have all been credited with an interest in the Uruguayan forward, with the former Napoli man reportedly wanting a move away from Paris as soon as possible.

Cavani is allegedly unhappy at being an understudy to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and wants to play through the middle rather than being pushed out wide.

His agent Claudi Anelluci has been trying to force an exit for his client, but his colossal wage demands and the fee PSG would require is likely to cause a problem.

The Ligue 1 champions are unlikely to want to sell in January unless they have to, especially after qualifying for the last 16 of the Champions League last week. If Cavani kicks up enough of a fuss however, a move could be forced through.
