Club World Cup Semi-Finals Confirmed

After the conclusion of the playoff round and the quarter finals, the line up for the semi finals of the Club World Cup is confirmed.

The four entrants are Spain’s Real Madrid, Argentina’s San Lorenzo, Mexico’s Cruz Azul and New Zealand’s Auckland City. Algeria’s ES Setif, Australia’s West Sydney Wanderers and Morocco’s Moghreb Tetouan have already been eliminated.

The semi finals are:

(SPA) Real Madrid vs Cruz Azul (MEX)

(ARG) San Lorenzo vs Auckland City (ZEA)

Auckland are the first team from Oceania to reach the semi finals. It’s Real Madrid’s and San Lorenzo’s first game in the competition after receiving byes in the opening rounds.

The games will be played on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.

In the fifth place play-off game, ES Setif will play West Sydney Wanderers.
