The 22 year old Spanish international has impressed when called upon but is by no means a regular having started eight of Real Madrid’s 15 La Liga fixtures this term, and is firmly behind Gareth Bale in terms of a spot in Carlo Ancelotti’s starting eleven.

Despite his relative lack of first team opportunities it would still be surprising if Isco opted to leave the Spanish giants in January with Real Madrid in an amazing run of form having notched up 20 straight wins.

Isco is certainly one of the hottest prospects in European football and if he were to feel his future does lie away from Real then he’ll have no shortage of offers.

If anything Man City have a surfeit of players of Isco’s type including the likes of David Silva and Samir Nasri.
