The talented youngster has been in fine form this season, though there are concerns over his dip in performance and troublesome behaviour off the pitch ever since his call-up to the senior England squad for a recent round of international matches.

Despite the 21-year-old looking like an exciting prospect, his attitude and discipline seems questionable after recently being caught drink-driving, following on from other unfortunate incidents.

Berahino is thought to have had a bust-up with team-mate James Morrison last season, and has been videod inhaling ‘legal high’ nitrous oxide.

It remains to be seen if bigger clubs will gamble on this controversial character, but his displays this season have seen him targeted by the big sides and his contract situation will surely have others watching closely.
