The Northern Irishman was speaking before his side face Bournemouth in the League Cup on Wednesday night. His job is currently under pressure after a poor start to the season, and he will be hoping that the game against the lower division side can be used to regain some confidence.

There had recently been rumours of unrest in the dressing room, partly because of the terrible form that the Reds have been in. However, the 41 year old has denied the validity of these reports.
