Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado looks set to force his way out of the club in the new year by attempting to push through a move to Manchester United, according to the Daily Star.

The Colombian international is said to be unhappy with life with the Serie A giants as United boss Louis Van Gaal waits in the wings with a tempting offer to bring him to the Premier League in January.

United, along with Spanish giants Barcelona, had been interested in the player during thee summer transfer window, but neither club wanted to meet his asking price so he stayed with the Tuscan side.

But with the Italian media reporting that Cuadrado is unhappy, the Red Devils are poised to battle Barcelona for the Colombian.

He has grown frustrated with the amount of playing time he’s been given and is now open to exploring new pastures.
