The player is Krystian Bielik, and he currently plays for Polish side Legia Warsaw, the same team that current Gunners ace and fellow Pole Wojciech Szczesny used to play for before he moved to London.

The 16-year-old has made an impressive start to his career at his current side, and it would seem that Arsene Wenger has taken notice.

Talks are supposedly now at an advanced stage between the two clubs, and the only question is meant to be whether he arrive at the Emirates Stadium next month or in the summer. The teenager is expected to sign a contract worth £2,000 a week at the North London club.

Wenger apparently wants Bielik to sign in January, but his club Legia want to wait until the summer so that he is able to complete the season with them. The player’s parents think he should wait, as it would be easier to settle in a new country when there are no fixtures to be played.

The versatile player can play in either midfield or defence, and has already made six senior appearances despite his young age.
