The Argentine starlet looks like one of the most outstanding young players in Europe at the moment after his superb start to the season in Serie A, but Arsenal don’t appear ready to pursue his transfer this season as he is too expensive.

This could allow the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool to swoop for his signature as he continues to attract the interests of a number of top clubs following his majestic displays in the Italian top flight.

Arsenal could do with more firepower upfront this season after finding themselves overly reliant on the form of £35m summer signing Alexis Sanchez, but Arsene Wenger looks to be dawdling in the transfer market once again.

Still, Dybala may well make his way to England in spite of this, as he will surely have many other offers from elsewhere.
