Gazzetta dello Sport claim that newly installed Nerazzurri boss Roberto Mancini is keen on signing White Hart Lane winger Aaron Lennon and this interest could lead to Colombian midfielder Fredy Guarin moving in the opposite direction.

Given that Lennon has started just three Premier League fixtures this season, and been hauled off on each occasion, it seems that Mauricio Pochettino doesn’t value the former Leeds United man all that highly whilst Guarin is a player of obvious ability who is highly rated and seemingly not ‘on par’ with the Spurs man in terms of valuation.

Guarin would certainly add some more guile and direction to Pochettino’s midfield with the likes of Moussa Dembele and Paulinho not being able to force their way into the Argentine’s first team plans.
