The top English goalscorers in the Premier League so far this season…

Roy Hodgson’s most recent England selection included four strikers – Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck, Rickie Lambert and Saido Berahino. Two of those players don’t make this list, and the one that ranks highest is still awaiting his first Three Lions cap.

Retired from international duty after this summer’s World Cup with 29 goals in 106 games, but has proved during his short time with City that he is still more than capable of performing at the top level.
