However, according to the Mirror the 25-year-old has also decided to move his parents in with him in his new luxury pad.

Sturridge is said to be very close to his Mum and Dad and is bucking the trend of footballers’ reputation by moving them into his new house and maintaining the family circle.

The England international has had a tough season to date due to a spate of injuries that have kept the forward out of action for most of the 2014/15 campaign.

Sturridge managed just three appearances for the Reds before he was struck down with a thigh problem whilst on international duty with the England national team.

Since then the attacker has suffered another setback with a calf injury and has been flown to Los Angeles by manager Brendan Rodgers for specialist medical treatment.

Sturridge will play no further part for the Merseysiders in 2014, which will come as a blow to the Anfield faithful as their current crop of attackers are struggling at the moment.

New signings Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert have failed to make any significant impact and Rodgers could do with the goals from his English star man.
