Liverpool & Arsenal chase £20m Premier League star.
Liverpool and Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the situation of West Ham United defender Winston Reid as he looks unlikely to agree a new contract at Upton Park, according to the Daily Mail.

The New Zealand international has been in fine form in the last few years to put himself on the radar of a number of big clubs, and he is now attracting plenty of interest as he heads towards the end of his current contrac.t
Reid is in negotiations with the Hammers over a new deal, but wants wages of £60,000 per week to stay at the club, which the Londoners do not seem ready to pay.
An offer of £45,000 per week is currently on the table for Reid, but it may be that the club will offload him this January if Liverpool or Arsenal can meet their asking price of £20m.
This fee may seem a little high for a player available for free in the summer, but it certainly looks as though the 26-year-old will be on his way out of the club before long.
