Although they didn’t hold the lead for very long it was clearly a relief for Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers when Philippe Coutinho put his side 1-0 up against Arsenal.

In fact the Northern Irishman was so pleased with the effort from the Brazilian in the Premier League clash that he celebrated the goal in a rather unusual and unfortunate way.

Rodgers raised one arm into the air and briefly – and presumably unintentionally – performed a Nazi salute, before clenching his hand into a fist to avoid further embarrassment.
