The Colombian has an amazing record at the Portuguese club with 77 goals in just 111 appearances over the last three campaigns. This has led to many clubs being linked with the 28-year-old, including a couple from the Premier League.

However, he is apparently not interested in a move after Porto made it to the last 16 of the Champions League. They have a relatively easy tie against FC Basel which could mean that they will make it to the quarter final of the competition.

Both Liverpool and Tottenham are interested in signing a forward in the mid-season transfer window due to their big name signings failing since arriving at the teams. Mario Balotelli and Roberto Soldado have both failed to impress this term, and in the Spaniard’s case last year as well.

The will be a blow to both sides, and will lead to them having to look elsewhere for striking reinforcements. Whether they will be able to find as proven a goalscorer available anywhere else is another matter though.
