Manchester City Star Will Be Back In Time For Chelsea Game

The injured superstar will be back next month…

Manchester City’s star striker Sergio Aguero will return from injury in time for the potential title deciding fixtures against Chelsea and Arsenal.

Manuel Pellegrini confirmed to the Daily Express that Aguero will be back in time for the crunch games, which it was initially feared he would miss.

“Maybe Jovetic and Kompany will be back soon, at the end of this week or next week,” Pellegrini said.

“But Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero will not be back until the second part of January.”

Man City face Everton on the 10th of January, and Arsenal visit the Etihad on the 18th; which could be too soon for the Argentine striker.

But the hitman will almost certainly be fit for the clash at Stamford Bridge on the 24th, a game which many will see as the game which could decide the destination of the title.

Aguero injured his knee in City’s game against Everton earlier this month, and will miss all City’s crucial Christmas fixtures.

Fortunately the Citizens have an easy run in the period without their key man, facing West Brom, Burnley and Sunderland in their next three fixtures.
