QPR are expected to go in for Spurs winger Aaron Lennon when the transfer window opens this January, reports the Telegraph.

The 27-year-old Englishman has fallen down the White Hart Lane pecking order, and was left out of Mauricio Pochettino’s match day squad for the Burnley game at the weekend – with the Argentine boss preferring Nacer Chadli and Andros Townsend.

Lennon almost joined QPR on loan during the summer, but decided to stay and fight for his place at Spurs.

Now though, it’s becoming increasingly clear that he’s surplus to requirements – and the winger could jump at the chance to play first-team football under a manager that has always rated him very highly…

Redknapp was in charge of Lennon during his time at Spurs, and has a penchant for signing players he’s previously worked with.

As well as Lennon, Spurs could offload Mousa Dembele, who has fallen behind Nabil Bentaleb, Ryan Mason and Benjamin Stambouli in pecking order.
