Representatives of the two London sides are expected to be in attendance at upcoming Maccabi Tel-Aviv fixtures against Hapoel Ra’anana and Hapoel Beer Sheva as Zahavi seeks to continue his remarkable run of form.

The Israeli international has scored 17 goals in 13 domestic league fixtures this term and racked up 35 goals in al competitions last term as he helped his side to a league title on his return from his spell in Italy with Palermo.

Zahavi is said to be open to a fresh move away from Israel as he seeks to prove himself at a higher level and a move to the Premier League is one would surely be tempted by.

By all accounts a move for Zahavi could cost as little as £3m and it’s a calculated risk that both Tottenham and West Ham are ready to entertain once they have taken a closer look at the Maccabi Tel-Aviv attacking midfielder in action.

A move to Upton Park may particularly appeal given the east London side’s previous association with Israeli players Eyal Berkovic and Yossi Benayoun.

There is also said to be interest in Zahavi from QPR, Stoke City and Ligue 1 outfit Lille.
