Manchester United have confirmed that record signing Angel di Maria has picked up a fresh injury, with the Argentine star now set to miss their game against Newcastle.

Di Maria has only just returned from a hamstring injury he picked up against Hull City, and it is suspected that this new injury is a recurrence of his previous knock.
This news will come as a huge blow to Old Trafford boss Louis van Gaal, with the Dutchman already having a huge number of his squad sidelined.
The pacey winger was a shining light for Manchester United at the start of the season, and his move from La Liga looked like a stroke of genius by van Gaal.
With a plethora of attacking talent at the club the Premier League side have been coping well in his absence, but he will still be sorely missed during this busy period.
