Arsenal’s Yaya Sanogo has been offered to Inter Milan to prevent them moving for Lukas Podolski in January…

The World Cup winner is desperate for first team football, but has seen his opportunities at the Emirates severely limited this season.

Inter Milan will no doubt be able to offer Podolski the regular action he wants so badly, but Wenger is unwilling to let him leave.

The Frenchman offered Yaya Sanogo on loan instead, but Inter director Piero Ausilio seems uninterested in the young striker.

Ausilio feels that Sanogo would only offer a temporary solution to their problems, and new boss Roberto Mancini has his eyes set firmly on Lukas Podolski.

Arsenal are attempting to find a club for for Sanogo to ensure him regular first team football, with Danny Welbeck, Olivier Giroud, and Alexis Sanchez all ahead of him in the pecking order. It appears he won’t be heading to Serie A with Inter Milan however, although Podolski still could join the Nerazzurri.
