Crystal Palace have sacked manager Neil Warnock after a run of poor results according to the BBC.

The 66 year old Yorkshire-man becomes the first Premier League to be sacked this season having been in his Eagles post for just four months, his second stint in charge of the South London outfit.

The Selhurst Park outfit sit in 18th place after an alarming run of form and have moved to turn the corner with the hope that a new boss can elicit a run of results that will help steer the club clear of the relegation zone.

Palace have won just one of their last 12 Premier League fixtures and face QPR in a massive ‘six-pointer’ on Sunday afternoon.
