Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas has criticised the referee after he didn’t get a penalty during the Blues’ draw with Southampton while speaking to Sky Sports.

The Spaniard was unhappy with Anthony Taylor’s decision to not award a penalty when Fabregas was brought down in the box. The official also gave the midfielder a yellow card for diving as a result of him hitting the ground during the incident.

Chelsea went on to draw the match, which gave title rivals Manchester City an opportunity to make up the three point gap between the teams at the top. However, luckily for the London team the Citizens were unable to beat Burnley. They let slip a two goal lead against Sean Dyche’s relegation threatened side.

The 27-year-old also praised his team’s performance.
