Brendan Rodgers has had his eye on the England striker since the start of the season, but had been unwilling to meet the Baggie’s £25m valuation, but now looks set to press ahead with the move when the transfer window re-opens later this week.
Plans with regards to Liverpool’s move for Berahino are said to be progressing well after Rodgers made the capture of a new striker his top January priority.
