The Welshman looks set to be confirmed as new head coach at the Hawthorns after a poor start to the season by his predecessor Alan Irvine, and Crouch is seemingly one of his main targets for this winter.

With the former England striker nearing the end of his contract at Stoke, he could be available on the cheap in this transfer window, and Pulis wants a reunion with the player he once signed for £10m from Tottenham Hotspur.

West Brom could do with more upfront this season as they look to secure their Premier League status, and Crouch is just one of a number of options being looked at at the moment.

Pulis was most recently in charge at Crystal Palace before leaving the club at the start of the season.
