The 34 year old shocked the world of football when he announced yesterday that he would be leaving Anfield in the summer after 15 years at the Merseyside club.
There was speculation as to where Gerrard would move next with LA Galaxy touted as the most likely destination. Gerrard has gone short of revealing just which club he will sign with but has said he’ll feature in the MLS in 2015.
Gerrard confirmed the news to Liverpool’s official website who tweeted they would be airing an exclusive interview with the midfielder later today where he would further reveal his future plans after leaving Anfield.

It would appear, however, that LA Galaxy is the likeliest move for Gerrard, with US journalist Grant Wahl claiming to have it confirmed Gerrard would be playing in Los Angeles next season.
