The Spaniard is in the final six months of his current deal at Anfield, and is free to discuss terms with other clubs. The Serie A side were thought to be keen on bringing him to Italy this January in a cut-price deal, but it seems now that they would prefer to get him for nothing at the end of the season.
Having secured Atletico Madrid’s Alessia Cerci on loan, Milan’s need for Suso has lessened. Liverpool are therefore likely to see the 20-year-old leave the club for free in six months time.
After joining the Merseyside club at the age of 17, Suso has never really looked like making the grade at the club. Having failed to make an impression on Brendan Rodgers, he will look to reignite his career in a new league.
