Kane has been in lightning form this season.
Tottenham Hotspur are already plotting a new contract for in form centre forward Harry Kane after his incredible form at the start of the Premier League season, report the Mirror, despite the fact that the England Under 21 international only penned a new five year deal at White Hart Lane during the summer after breaking through into the club’s first team shake up.
Kane has used his form in the Europa League as a springboard to becoming the club’s main striker and possibly their most important player in the Premier League, with his two goal performance against Chelsea at White Hart Lane on New Year’s Day showcasing the poise, touch and deadly finishing ability that has made Kane such an exciting prospect.
The 21 year-old, who has previously had loan spells with Leyton Orient, Millwall and Leicester City, was third choice behind Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado at best at the start of this season, but a glut of goals in continental competition thrust him to the forefront of Mauricio Pochettino’s thinking and Kane hasn’t looked back.
The report suggests that Kane currently earns a wage packet in the region of £20,000 per week at Tottenham currently, but can expect significant financial remuneration for his efforts in the club’s white shirt so far this season.
