Chelsea are could apparently attempt a sensational move…
Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi is apparently “monumentally angry” with his manager Luis Enrique, according to Spanish radio station Cadena Copa.
The Argentine doesn’t think that the 44-year-old is the right man to sort out the problems at the Nou Camp, and is unhappy that the directors at the club have backed the coach. The four time Ballon d’Or winner has apparently had this feelings piqued following the La Liga giants’ 1-0 loss to Real Sociedad, who are now managed by former Manchester United boss David Moyes.
The World Cup golden ball winner was left on the bench alongside Neymar and Gerard Pique against Sociedad, and only came on at half time. However, this could be explained as he had only just arrived back from his winter break. The loss meant that they missed out on a huge opportunity to overtake Real Madrid after Los Blancos had lost to Valencia.
Chelsea have been rumoured to be interested in a sensational bid for the forward, and although this is incredibly unlikely it could happen if Messi forced a move. The 27-year-old missed training on Monday, but according to the club he was ill.
