Tottenham Hotspur travel to Lancashire on Monday night for an FA Cup clash with Burnley in round three.

Spurs have visited Turf Moor four times since the turn of the century, losing three times and winning just once.

However, they will begin Monday’s match as favourites, having hit top form over the festive period – beating Chelsea 5-3 on New Year’s Day.

Here’s the team we expect Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino to select against the Clarets:

GK: Michel Vorm

Tottenham’s number two goalkeeper has played every minute in the Capital One Cup this season, so he will presumably be used in the FA Cup too.

RB: Kyle Naughton

Pochettino is expected to make many changes to give rests to key players. Kyle Walker should sit out, with Naughton a prime contender to replace him.

LB: Ben Davies

Tottenham’s left-backs have been rotated with much regularity this season. Danny Rose played – and starred – against Chelsea, so Davies should feature in this one.

CB: Younes Kaboul and Vlad Chiriches

Jan Vertonghen and Federico Fazio have started Tottenham’s last 10 domestic games, so both could really do with a rest. In Chiriches and club captain Kaboul, Spurs have two fairly competent deputies.
