Tottenham News And Transfer Rumours

Spurs were rumoured to be interested in the right-back in the summer. However, a deal never materialised for the player after he returned to Lisbon following a loan at Lyon. Whether the links are more realistic this time around is unknown.

The Portuguese report says little else except from state that the North London club are monitoring the defender’s recovery from a recent injury. The 28-year-old would add to manager Mauricio Pochettino’s options at full-back, with Kyle Walker and Kyle Naughton both already at the club and able to play at right-back.

Lopes has made four appearances for the Portugal national team, and it is not stated whether Tottenham are interested in a loan or a permanent deal for the Sporting ace. This is a rumour that may grow in weight as the transfer window goes on.
