The former Red Devils boss recently revealed that the 19-year-old winger reminds him of three time Ballon d’Or winner and Netherlands legend Johan Cruyff.

Cruyff is widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time, and the teen has now been compared to the multi-capped Dutch playmaker.

The Belgian international was considered one of the few positives to come out of Moyes’ short time with the Old Trafford club – with Moyes receiving credit for both his handling of and introduction of the youngster into the first-team.

The former Manchester United manger told FourFourTwo magazine:

“He’s a wonderfully gifted player with great balance and the ability to go past people. When I see his poise on the ball, he has characteristics of Johan Cruyff.”

However, Januzaj is yet to impress current Reds manager Louis Van Gaal with the new boss not seeing the young winger as part of his current plans, giving him only four Premier League starts in 2014/15. A January move could be on the horizon as a result, with Serie A giants Inter Milan monitoring his situation.
